GuestGuidePublications.com needed a redesign and, working closely with the developer, I was in charge of visual design. At its surface, it is a blog site. But, after in-depth discussions about the scope of this site early on, it became clear that it would have to function as so much more. The owner needed this site to be a complete point of reference for travelers–what to do, what to see, what to eat–while visiting these amazing places. She wanted to emphasize the beautiful landscapes with photography while keeping the design clean. Each city is color-coded, adding a fun navigational element.
We also did design and layout for the corresponding printed guidebooks for each travel destination.
